Our Story

Hi, I’m Buky (Boo-key).

I started Pearl & Paw because, like a lot of pet parents, I love spoiling my dog Pearl with fun, beautiful treats. But I wanted to avoid artificial food coloring. When I went looking for dye-free options, I realized there was a bigger issue: vague ingredient labels like “dog-safe food coloring” or “vegetable powders,” with no real clarity about what was actually being used.

Pearl is my family, and she deserves transparency. So do all pets and their parents.

Pearl & Paw treats are vibrant using superfoods like spirulina and turmeric. Our bold design is intentional - to spark conversation and push the industry towards clearer ingredient disclosure.

My goal is bigger than one brand. I want to work with the AAFCO to ensure color additives in pet treats are clearly labeled, so pet parents can make informed choices.
